3 simple steps to the safety data sheet

1. Provide data

To prepare your safety data sheets, we need relevant product information such as composition, raw material data sheets, physical-chemical properties (pH value, flash point, etc.) as well as information on product name and company.

Record all relevant product data in the linked PDF file.

2. Transmit data

After submitting your data, we will start processing it. Should any questions or ambiguities arise during this process, the relevant administrator will contact you in order to avoid misunderstandings.

Send the PDF file with your data to: bestellungen@gefahrstoff.com

3. Delivery of the data sheets

The data sheets are delivered in PDF or RTF format. We are of course available for any queries. Explanations of results are just as much a matter for us as answering any resulting questions on further handling.

Interesting facts about the safety data sheet

The safety data sheet provides safety-relevant information on substances and mixtures along the supply chain. It provides all the necessary information that the user of the chemical requires for safe handling. This includes, for example, detailed information on the composition of the product, possible hazards and information on safe handling and storage.

As a distributor, manufacturer or importer of a product, you are obliged to provide the safety data sheet to your customer, at the latest with the first delivery.

The requirements for the safety data sheet are determined by the REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, in particular Article 31 in conjunction with Annex II.

Safety data sheets may only be prepared by competent persons. The supplier of the product is responsible for the content, completeness and up-to-dateness of the safety data sheet.

The safety data sheet must be made available to the recipient in the official language of the respective country. National regulations must be observed and the texts prescribed by law for the respective official language must be used. A mere translation of the safety data sheet is not permitted.
